How to make a tractor with a breaking frame do it yourself
The assembly of the tractor begins with the manufacture of the frame, the phased installation of the remaining units on the base, the installation of the hydraulic system and electrical wiring. Let us consider in more detail each stage.
Frame and body
Frame components weld from metal channels (depending on the planned power of the unit use channel from No. 5 to No. 9) and connect them together by a hinge mechanism (for these purposes often use cardan shafts from trucks). 
On the rear frame if necessary, mount a reinforced vertical rack for attachments.
For the body, which does not account for such loads as the frame, you can use less expensive material. Frame, for example, can be welded from metal bar.

Steering and seat

Engine
Ulyanovsk engines (UD-2, UD-4) are often used for home-made vehicles, but there are a lot of alternatives, ranging from the above-described variant with a car and ending with engines from motorcycles, walking blocks and forklifts.

When using a motorcycle engine, you will need to consider additional forced air cooling - the tractor's loads are no match for its normal operation.You will also need to set the gear ratio so that at a speed of about 4 km / h, the engine speed is approximately 2000 min-1. Such indicators are optimal for arable work.
Wheels
Bridges (both rear and front) are taken from cars or trucks, before shortening the semi to the required length. You can install an independent suspension on the front axle (for example, from Zaporozhets), it is better to leave the rear axle rigid. 
Wheels choose depending on the primary tasks of the unit. If his main work will take place in the field and on rough terrain, it is better to put wheels with a diameter of 18-24 inches. If, in general, it will be used for transportation tasks, then smaller wheels will fit - from 13 to 16 inches.
Additional equipment for tractor 4x4 with breaking frame
For productive work the mini-tractor must be equipped with a power take-off shaft (PTO) - attached and attached implements (plows, mowers, headers) are connected to it. PTO can be taken from an old tractor or decommissioned military equipment.
