Jan Krzysztof Ardanovsky, the head of agricultural issues in Poland, stresses that since September 19, among the pigs, there have been no reported cases of the virus in the Polish farms. However, the domestic boar was not good enough - among them 276 infected individuals were identified, which immediately after fixation of the infection were sent to quarantine and further liquidation.
"Today, on those lands where outbreaks of African swine fever were registered, preventive work has already been completed, the territories have been cleared. Animals are settled in a barn, and production is beginning to gain momentum. certificates and certificates ", - said Minister Ardanovsky. According to him, the meat of Polish pigs has already received permission to sell in the EU countries.
In the meantime, Poland sighs with relief, the ASF virus is confidently moving to the western territories of Europe.
