Producers of agricultural chemistry of India and China have agreed to cooperate

The cooperation of India and China in the field of agrochemistry is developing rapidly. At the end of February, representatives of the parties, 12 Indian agrarian companies and 21 Chinese companies, gathered for a one-day conference on this issue in Singapore. The purpose of the meeting was determined the beginning of a business dialogue and the subsequent establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation.

According to the results of the event, clear accents were placed in the current situation. First, China is not a strong leader in the extraction of fossil raw materials, in which India is interested. As it was decided during the event, the production of certain chemicals in China over the past year has decreased by almost 40%. Secondly, the wish list for technical products in which the parties are interested has turned out to be largely unbalanced.

In general, at a conference in Singapore, a precedent was set for the creation of a joint Indian-Chinese production of agrochemical products, which has a tendency to development and the right to life. The main aspect of cooperation of the parties is the coordination of sources of raw materials and production capabilities. The Singapore conference was only the first step towards potential partners to each other. This meeting was designed to raise the awareness of Indian and Chinese companies in the opportunities and benefits of investing in the development of agrochemical production of the parties.
