This magnificent early ripe variety was bred in 2004 at the Experimental Farm of Artyomovsk Research Station of Nursery of the Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Ukraine.
The variety was obtained by hybridizing the species D-54-82 ("Donchanka" and "Valery Chkalov") and "Dzherelo" ("Drogan Yellow" and "Valery Chkalov"). The work was led by the famous plant breeder L.I. Taranenko.

Fruit Description
The fruits of this tree are large (12-14 g), round, slightly flattened. The color of ripe berries is dark red, closer to burgundy. The flesh is of dense structure, sinewy, with a thin sourish, wine-sweet flavor. Stone separates easily.
