Saturated red, large, juicy, moderately sweet - most likely, as most people will describe the perfect strawberries. And such a berry exists. This is a variety that has recently appeared on our beds - "Darlelekt", with which we will get to know each other better.
About breeding
In 1998, a new early maturing variety, Darlelect, was bred in France. For his selection used popular varieties "Elsanta" and "Parker". The new species took from its "parents" all the best, rightfully becoming one of the most sought-after commercial varieties.
Description and characteristics of the variety
"Darlelekt" early begins to bloom and gives early harvest. High bushes with large berries are ripening in early June.

Bushes in this variety are high, with medium foliage. The leaves have a dark green color. The root system is very developed.

Watering
Darlelect is a very moisture-loving variety. For these berries to fully ripen, watering should be regular. Drip is best suited, so the bush will constantly receive life-giving moisture. Until the time of tying the flowers, it is possible to irrigate using the “sprinkling” method and it is advisable to do it every other day. After tying, water only under the root and reduce to several times a week. The best time for watering is when there is no scorching sun, in the morning or in the evening.
Important! With insufficient watering the stalk is hard to tear off the berries, injuring it.
Weeding and loosening between the rows
If weeds are near the strawberries during the setting of the inflorescences, they can pick up useful micro and macro elements from the soil, which will affect the quality of the berries. Top dressing

- in early spring, nitroammofosk (1 tablespoon per 10 liters of water) or mullein infusion is suitable. Also good influence fertilizers with potassium;
- during the setting of the buds, spraying with a solution of boric acid is carried out;
- in the fall, for better preparation for winter, it will not hurt to pour urea on the plants (30 g per 10 l of water) under the root. After fertilizer should be poured abundantly with water.
Mulching
