Sort Miner was obtained in the NGO "Vierul" in Moldova.

Full ripeness of this variety comes on 130-135 days since the bud break - approximately in the last decade of September. The variety has a good yield, the coefficient of fruiting is 1.6-1.8.

Due to the fact that the flower of the plant is female, additional pollination is required to obtain a crop of the presentation. Despite this, the variety does well on its own without a pollinator variety and is not prone to peas.

The miner is not inclined to overload the crop and is able to withstand the heavy weight of the clusters, and therefore does not require rationing, but occasionally needs thinning of the clusters. The maximum yield of the variety gives when grown on large forms or arched way.
The variety is characterized by high frost resistance - up to -26 при C under the condition of shelter for the winter, in unopened conditions, guaranteed to withstand freezing to -21⁰С. At the same time, the plant has a high regeneration capacity and is very quickly restored when it is frozen.
Senator, Alex, Svetlana and Charlie also have good frost resistance.
When grown on land with medium fertility, the variety is unpretentious and does not require mineral fertilizers and frequent watering. Its only drawback is the short storage of the crop on the vine, therefore, after ripening, the berries must be removed.
Pests and diseases
The variety is characterized by medium resistance to fungal diseases, such as powdery mildew (oidium) and gray mold, it is resistant to mildew at the level of 3.5 points.
Thanks to 2-3 preventive spraying during the entire growing season, all diseases of the grapes can be reduced to almost zero. This applies to anthracnose, bacteriosis, chlorosis and rubella.
Due to the dense skin of berries of this variety, they are not damaged by wasps, and during the usual agrotechnical measures, the crop and the plant itself will not be affected by other common pests, such as the leafworm, the mite and the aphid.
To do this, it is necessary to systematically inspect the plant for pest damage (including at the time of purchase of the seedling), remove the affected parts in time, and also carry out 1-2 preventive treatments of the grapes.
Such measures will prevent the spread of pests, preserve the plant and the future harvest.
When sheltering a plant for the winter, the vine can be damaged by rodents.
In order to scare off rodents, it is enough to use the spruce branches when covering.
Vine should not be in contact with the ground, so the fir branches stacked under it. Such a measure will not only prevent the appearance of mice, but will also prevent the formation of mold.
