Agrarians of six Ukrainian regions began a sunflower sowing campaign. The culture has already occupied an area of 54 thousand hectares, which is 1% of the forecast.
Sowing of ardent cereals and leguminous crops is in full swing. 1.4 million hectares of land or 61% of the forecasted amount have already been sown, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy said. Ardent barley was sown on an area of 984 thousand hectares (63%) of hot wheat - 102 thousand hectares (59%), oats - 89 thousand hectares (46%) and peas - 217 thousand hectares (62%).
