The escape

The plant is an intermediate type bush with a height of 60-65 cm. The trunk is semi-upright with thin stalks. The leaves are medium-sized green with a slight waviness on the edge. The flowers are medium-sized light purple, sometimes red-purple hue. A separate bush forms under a 8-10 large tubers.

Specifications

Uladar potatoes were bred by agronomists of the Republic of Belarus. Today it is one of the best among table varieties of Belarusian potatoes.

Successful cultivation of this variety is produced in temperate climatic zones. It is grown mainly in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.

Uladar potato is valued by its characteristic qualities.:

  1. Precocity. Uladar is an early ripe variety with a growing season of 70-75 days. Like other varieties of early ripeness, Uladar gives its first "young" crop 45 days after planting.
    Frequent cases of second fruiting of this variety for the season.
  2. Yield. Productivity - the main distinguishing feature of the variety. At the first digging, the yield reaches 35 tons from 1 hectare of the sown area, and at the end of the growing season, the yield is 56-60 tons.
    Maximum values ​​were registered - 71 tons per 1 hectare of land. Uladar is famous for its early tuber formation and fast accumulation of the crop in the first half of the growing season.
  3. Drought tolerance. Uladar tolerates not too long drought. In case of long-term dry period, it needs not abundant watering.
  4. Soil requirement. Variety Uladar gives excellent performance for growing medium and light soils on the particle size distribution. Cultivation on other types of soil is also possible.
  5. Using. Uladar is a high quality variety of table potatoes, suitable also for long storage. The quality of potatoes is good - 93-95%.
  6. Taste qualities. On a five-point scale, Uladar deserves 4.2. During cooking, the pulp does not fall apart, remaining elastic.
    Uladar is almost immune to mechanical damage. When harvesting up to 96% of potatoes retain their presentation.
  7. Disease resistance. High resistance is observed to potato cancer, potato cyst nematode, banded and wrinkled mosaics. Average resistant to late blight tops and tubers, leaf curling virus.
